Abstract
Reliable lyrium detection methodologies remain critical to dwarven economic stability and surface trade relations. This study introduces a quantitative geological model for predicting lyrium vein formations based solely on observable stone characteristics, enabling detection without dependence on Stone Sense. Analysis of 143 sites across three thaigs reveals statistically significant indicators including specific mineral co-occurrences, vibrational patterns detectable via mechanical instruments, and distinctive crystalline formations in surrounding rock. Testing against known but concealed veins achieved 87% accuracy. Implementation could revolutionize mining efficiency while providing surface dwarves previously inaccessible economic opportunities in primary lyrium detection.
